From 2 to 6 November 2018, took place in Egypt the World Youth Forum in the historic and mythical city Sharm EL Sheikh under the high patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
Young Africans have joined more than 5000 young people from 145 countries around the world to take part in this great event and have worked on issues focused on peace, development, creativity and entrepreneurship.

On the sidelines of this forum, there was a summit of African and Arab countries around the issue of Afro-Arab cooperation and integration. On this subject, speaking to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sissi, young Congolese Emamsy Mbossa did not fail to recall that "living together is a key element towards sustainable development", and expressed the will of the African youth to collaborate with young people from all over the world and particularly young people from the Arab world for peace, development and better integration of young people.

At the end of this Forum, several recommendations were addressed to the Egyptian President and the African Union, among others: Establish an Arab and African Fund to support the consolidation of peace in countries in the post-conflict period, finance the reconstruction and development; the creation of a program to recruit and train Arab and African youth in leadership, science and art.

World Youth Forum is a platform built by promising youth. It sends a message of peace, prosperity, harmony, and progress to the entire world. It engages youth from around the globe in an enriching set-up, allowing them to exchange views and recommend initiatives to decision-makers and influential figures. The forum is a chance for the attendees to engage with top policymakers, network with promising youth from the region and the world that are determined to make our world a better place for everyone.

In an interview with Zuriel Oduwole (a film-maker and education advocate from USA) on the sidelines of the Forum, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi said that Success always requires effort and patience, and he hopes to be remembered by people as someone who has done good work for his people and humanity.

What is your message to Africa's youth Mister President ? asked Zuriel Elise Oduwole, the 16 years old education advocate.

"The hope is in you and for you. Never lose your self-confidence or confidence in what you can achieve in the future" stated the Egyptian President.
